The School Advisory Council, consisting of parents, community members and teachers are dedicated to the philosophy that by working together we can achieve high academic standards, provide the best educational programs for our students and improve school effectiveness.

The School Advisory Council is composed of a diverse cross-section of the school's population which includes administrators, teachers, parents, business partners and members of the community.

The School Advisory Council meets on a monthly basis to analyze test data, establish and monitor academic objectives, plan and develop student centered activities and facilitate staff and parent trainings. Committees are formed and participation is encouraged by all members of the Council.

School Advisory Council information is disseminated to stakeholders via various methods which include School Advisory Council meetings, monthly PTO meetings and faculty meetings. Information and meeting dates are posted in monthly school newsletters, weekly lunch menus and on the school marquee. This comprehensive plan drives the school’s programs and strategies.
